Washington D.C.

Established on July 16th 1790, Washington D.C. is the seat of government for the United States of America.

Over 200 years of history have left their mark on the city.  It has also left a few ghost too.

The following photos were taken by my father during our trip in November of 2005.

The Korean War memorial

One of the newest memorials in Washington D.C. is the Korean War memorial.

Located near the Lincoln Memorial and the Vietnam War memorial, the Korean War memorial is an eerie place after dark.

My father and I visited the memorial after dark on one of the after dark tours.  As we approached the memorial it seemed that the statues of the soldiers were appearing out of the darkness as if they were ghosts themselves.
